Green Beans and Potatoes

 


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound fresh green beans

  • 1 pound new potatoes

  • salt

  • bacon grease


DIRECTIONS

  1.  Snap the ends off of the green beans.  Rinse thoroughly.

  2. Fill a large pot with enough water to cover green beans, add in about 2 TBSP bacon grease, and a few shakes of salt. Cook on medium heat for half an hour.

  3. Add potatoes in halfway through cooking time.  

  4. When potatoes are tender, remove from heat, serve hot!  Salt and pepper to taste!
