Ice Cream Bread

Flour and ice cream got married and created a beautiful baby together!  Trust me on this one - it sounds weird, but its delicious, I promise!  My favorite is butter pecan, but you can try it with whatever kind of ice cream you want - just make sure its the full-fat stuff!!  Lil note - this is not my picture because I forgot to take one.

Prep Time: 10 min | Cooking time: 45 min

Makes 1 (8 x 4) loaf of bread

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups of Ice Cream, any flavor, softened

1 1/2 cups Self-Rising Flour

DIRECTIONS:

  • Preheat your oven to 350.  Spray and flour an 8 x 4 loaf pan, or line with parchment paper.

  • In a medium bowl mix the ice cream and flour together until just combined.

  • Scoop into the loaf and and smooth out.

  • Bake for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick stuck in the loaf comes out with a few crumbs stuck to it.

  • Remove from the pan and allow to cool.

  • Cut into slices and enjoy!

For best results, use full-fat ice cream!
