Are you a thigh person or a breast person?
I was always a breast person until recently. I love love love, white meat.
The problem is, breasts are more expensive than thighs, especially if you're getting boneless-skinless ones.
I will admit that I have been converted to chicken thighs over breasts, especially when they are bone-in. They are more juicy, and tend to come out more tender than breasts do. Bonus, they are less expensive! I use them in practically everything, now.
Especially in recipes that call for crispy skin.
Lets be honest, who doesn't love a good crispy skin on some chicken?
You can use them pretty much any time breasts are called for. I tend to allot two thighs per adult, and it works out wonderfully. You can get a big package of thighs at Walmart for around $6, versus a big package of chicken breasts for around $10.
Do yourself a favor and give switching to thighs a chance!!
